Deathception

A tale of transcending consciousness. Created for the GameDevTV Game Jam 2022, themed, 'Death is only the beginning.'

Start off as a one dimensional being, trying to ascend to the second. If you fail, you'll fall into the void.

In the second dimension, you face your shadow chasing you and trying to bring you down. Use the on-screen joystick, or arrow keys on the keyboard to evade it. If you can hold your nerves, you'll be granted access to the 3D world.

In your final test, three dimensional life, hit as many black boxes as possible. Use the keys, QWEASD, or the buttons on screen to move respectively.

If you pass all tests, you'll reach ultimate unity with the nature of existence.

I hope the horror theme isn't too intimidating. 🤞
